suvachintak1... yes, i try to understand their idealogies. i believe on them more nowadays. they have taught us what looked like an absurd thing few years back. In democracy, political parties are the ones who are responssible to direct ways to people and vice versa. IN THESE LAST 10 yrs, both PARTIES and WE people lost our ways. WE TOOK THINGS FOR GRANTED. Enough now, WE NEED TO WAKE UP. since maoists are doing what the political parties are needed to do, so yes, i , as a nepali citizen, at least do try to understand them. and for that i don't have to join the militia and become a maosit. i can support them and yet be a non-maoist. indisguise, i m sure the maoists did not start their revolution so that one day people will put them aside as "terrorists". i dont support their violence but i, however, do tend to understand its inevitability. if we go to villages, we see socially deprived people, raped, torchered and murdered by the so called rulers. suppression is everywhere, albeit in different scale. how can an uneducated, poor people combat that suppression. If I were one of them, I would lift a gun and shoot the suppressors. that is probably what maoists militants have been doing. its easy for educated people like us residing in developed countries to condemn the violence, but i do feel for those innocent people who have been suppressed for ages. maoists war is an emotional outburst of the oppressed people. loote
