Govt move to bring back former IGP Kharel Kathmandu , 22 May: The present government, consisting of parties committed to correcting past mistakes, has started mobilizing the police administration along party and family lines, Rajdhani reports. Democratic security personnel are disenchanted. Government is preparing to induct controversial former IGP Achut Krishna Kharel by creating a new position in the police administration. Kharel, considered close to the NC, is being inducted as police director general. Previous attempts to create the position didn't succeed. Police inspectors close to the NC were transferred in moves one week ago.
