Curious visit of two dozen leaders of ruling party to India Kathmandu, 23 May: Nearly two dozen leaders of the ruling parties flew to New Delhi Sunday raising eyebrows, Ruprekha reports. New Delhi called them after helping the parties in the movement in an effort to force a preliminary agreement on several agreements and issue certain directives. Chakra Prasad Bastola, Arjun Narningh KS, Sashanka Koirala of the NC, Jhalanath Khanal, Bamdev Gautam of the CPN-UML, Bimalendra Nidhi, Dr Minendra Rijal and Surendra Hamal of NC(D), Amik Serchan and Lilimani Pokhrel of Janamorcha Nepal, Hridesh Tripathi and others are in New Delhi. Left leader Sitaram Yachiri, who came to Nepal during the movement, is getting briefings from them. Indian government has given special responsibilities to Yachuri to handle Nepal. India has invited Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala and Deputy Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to visit New Delhi to sign some agreements.
