Amar Lama was killed by Maoists in Kirtipur about 5 years ago. He was same Amar Lama who was driving the Jeep when it killed Madan Bhandari and Jeev Nath Asrit under suspicious conditions. Eyewitnesses have said that his cloth was not even properly drenched but he was claiming he was inside the Jeep when it fell into Trishuli. Why did Maoists have to kill Amar Lama after he was released from prison? Did he harbor some secrets that were too valuable? It is well known fact that Amar Lama time and again said that he would spill the beans at a suitable time. Is Madab Nepal paying back now to Maoists with his unflinching support to the latter?
