i was born a buddhist, but don't have any loyalty to any particular religion... i just think it is unfair that a man has to go to jail for lifefor killing a cow in this day and age. i just think some people should be untouchable just because he/she was born into a certain caste--kami, damai etc...this is a result of the state policies following the religious principles. surely, a secular state will not allow such things. Isn't that fair to most Nepalis? we should not be emotional about such matters. it is good that we ague about the pros and cons of making our country a secular state. i disagree with the supporters of a Hindu state Nepal, but respect your views. thanks karma
