For a muslim what does it matter if country is called hindu state or buddhist state or secular state? All are same for us. Only thing that matters is that there should not be religious discrimination. Till now I have not seen any solid example of religious discrimination in nepal.. you wont believe it but many muslims in my area celebrate 'chath'(worship of sun god in terai). A muslim guy was ill and almost certain to die... a hindu neighbor promised some puja in chath for that guy... later the guy got cured and people in my village started celebrating chath festival too... And many hindu people come to muslim maulavis in villages for bhoot-pret related issues... they also go to mazaars... Though I dont believe in superstitions in above examples... it clearly shows the high religious respect and tolerance in nepal... And this is what matters for me.... much more than having the name 'secular'... hindus are majority in nepal... if they want to call the country 'hindu' which it deserves by historical and cultural reasons... then why should a muslim have problem with it.... infact I dont think secular is more islamic name than hindu.
