Ghamdan Mohammed Abolohom, 23, from Yemen, was shot in the chest about 8 p.m. Sunday and later died at a hospital, authorities said. Police arrested Subash Chandra Rai, 21, a University of Indianapolis senior from Nepal, and charged him in Abolohom's death. When officers arrived at the apartment, about a mile from campus, they found Abolohom lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his chest. No other details of the shooting or what led to the arrest were immediately released. Abolohom graduated May 6 with a degree in economics/international business, said school spokeswoman Mary Atteberry.
