Like redstone suggested it could be the hardware. When you press the eject button does it respond, or can you eject it from windows, if you can then you might have to repalce the CD Drive. If you do not know how to do it the computer stores can do it for you, it will cost you less than $20 but might charge you somewhere between 15-50 dollars and it takes about 5 minutes to repalce a CD drive.
