king i don't know how much of a revenge it is. may be they got thier own political interests, but u have to admit that the last gov't did stoop very low to prevent the demonstrations from happening. may be i am being oblivious and stupid. but until and unless we adress past wrongdoings, provide amensty and bring criminals to justice, we will never move on. i am not implying lets punish the police who fired shots (they themselves were the victims in many cases), tara 19 people did die(i.e setu) and thousnads were injured. justice must be done to them. how can we just ignore the plights of these families? we must give these families and the poeples some kind of compensation. we have bigger issues in our plate, absolutely, and we can never get rid of conflicts, but we gotta start somehwere. we have to do so so that in the next round of protests, bound to happen, another 18 people dont' get fired. me not asking to take those high levels officals to hague, but at least recognising that unjust was done also means a lot.
