I am a graduate student with an F-1 visa . My passport expires in feb 2007. My department is renewing the financial support for the next year (2006-2007). They told me that they need my passport valid throughout the year of 2007 to renew the support. I wonder if it is possible to renew the passport even if it is valid for almost a year from now. Any help about it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
