It is Kathmandu in July, when every unbuilt space is full of weeds... Kathmandu IS that green... but you'd never know it when you travel on the roads because most of the green space is hidden behind tall walls... inside Narayanhiti, Singhadurbar, Keshar Mahal, Fohra durbar, Army headquarter, Election Commission, Bhrikuti Mandap, Royal Nepal Academy, Hotel Yak and Yeti, etc. The Tundikhel is in the right middle ground of the picture... it is only a small fraction of the green space that could potentially be available to the public.
