This is not the first time I have heard of Army and Police committing such heinous and egregious acts. It's just that lot of the times, they just go unreported. It would not be too much of a stretch of imagination to think that those two foreign women who went missing and later found dead in Kakani in the designated Army area were also raped and murdered by the Army men. #1. Those rapists should be brought to justice. They should get the most severe punishment possible. #2. Those armymen who fired upon the people and murdered five should also be punished severely. #3. The commanders (officers) of those armymen should be thoroughly punished as well because, whether they directly participated or not in the rape and shootings, they are responsible for the conduct of the men under them. #4. Army and Police as a whole need to be overhauled and proper ethics/sensitivity training should be imposed. These kind of brutal acts are institutionalized as was seen so frequently during the protest. No wonder people believe the police and army are enemies.
