Hello, anybody out there please explain what 's up with a constituent assembly. How is it formed? Is it like a referendum or a general election? Do parties run for the House on the basis of their own manifesto, or do they have one common agenda for the people? After the election what do they do? Does the elected assembly (House) decide en masse on the future of monarchy or do they select a committee of their own which decides the KG's fate? Another point: who writes the constitution and is the nature of the constitution voted by all members? What happens to the assembly after the constitution has been written and completed? Is it dissolved? New election for parliament again? Unfortunately, no Mother F*****r of a journalist has enlightened the Nepalese people about this.
