OK, I just rememberd this simple puzzle i heard sometime back. i dont remember it completely, but the essence should be clear. Suppose there are three people: A B and C ,each with a gun. A is a very good shot. THe probability of him hitting his target is 95%. B and C are not that great. Their probablities of success are 50% each. Suppose the three duel it out. Each person picks a target, and shoots. So all three shots are fired at once. Next, the remaining survivors aim the gun at each other and shoot until everyone dies. (Given that there is only a probablity of success < 1 for each round, *in theory* this duelling could go on forever. Also *in theory* everyone could die the first shot too. BUt this is a minor technicality). The $1000, 000 question is: who does A first aim? and who does B aim? and who does C aim first? Answer....(hint: you don't need to know math. a passing knowledge of current nepali politics should help).
