Obrian, what a charisma the king has that hundreds of thousands of Nepali people are in the stree chanting "down with Gyane". You seem to be very much impressed by king's fluency in English!! Its not bad to have good English but its not a point to make him a good leader. Certainly its good for the king to tour the nation but look, 1. How much hard earned tax money of people was being spent on flying helicopters? 2. Hundreds of thousand rupees has been spent on making "welcome gates" wherever he toured. The local business people were forced to contribute on such welcome gates. 3. There was even story that a toilet was built overnight in one of the guesthouses of Terai government building when the king was to halt their for one night. More than hundred thousand rupees was spent to make that toilet and the king used it one night only and from the second day, it has been locked up. 4.Wherever he tours, his food supplies goes from Soaltee Crowne Plaza Hotel from Kathmandu, being transported by the king. 5. Ministers, bureaucrats also have to follow the king wherever he goes. Look how much money is spent for nothing. 5. Group of artits, singers, dancers are taken in the Royal entourage of the king to entertain him at the cost of hard earned Nepali people. 6. Wherever he toured, the schools and offices were forced to shut down and students and people were asked to line up to welcome him. 7. He listened the problems of the people and interacted with them. Nobody said to the king that they are hungry or have nothing to wear or so so. Everybody said "Sarkar, we needed peace in the country" and he said " yes, yes, I got it" but what step did he take positively to meet the demand of the people? His touring Nepal was USELESS and burden for the country.
