I believe King could not have said more than what he said in his speech last friday. He agreed to act based on the recommendation of New proposed government led by PM selected by 7 protesting parties under Act 35 of Nepali constitution. He agreed to be within the constitution accepted by these same 7 parties. It is now for the parties to form the goverment and recommend reinstatement of parliament or election of constitutional assembly. How could you expect the King to call for the constitutional assembly on his own when he has already agreed to work based on the recommentation. These 7 protesting parties are showing their ineffeciency and inconsideration for Nepali people yet once again. It seems they are simply acting on Maoist agenda but nothing else
