How could anyone convince people who do not believe in ballot in the first place ? That is the reason why they choose to participate in only one election and the election became useless for them. They choose guns and they really felt they could in fact control something. Maoists do not believe in ballot but they believe in guns, there is no point telling them that they should come to ballot. This leaves it point less to tell them that they will not will win if they ever participate in election.
