I agree with what all of you say, nothing short of Constituent Assemblly..possibly Republic needs to the demand, but here's my concern: Even with a Republic in place- where are the leaders? Outside of the current past retirement, pushing 90 years Kishun Ji and Girija bau..where are the leaders that the country desperatly needs? Sher Bahadur: Likely to get pelted with stones and brickbats if he even drives towards Balwatar... Madhav Nepal:..Seemingly does not have the support of the masses.. Bamdev Gautam: Do we want a Communist government in Nepal? The problems that would arise- Nationally and Internationally are obvious (think boycott of Hamas and the ensuing economic ruin of Palestine)... Prachanda et all: The only place of "leadership" I'd like to see him take is the empty cell in the Hague left by the death pf Milosevic.."crimes against humanity" proceedings need to be started against this guy and Baburam... Gagan: The apple of everyone's eyes and the one with the most promise and hope is under 35 years and I doubt would be able to get the over 60 brigade to understand what he means and to appreciate his vision... ....so...where are we headed?...back to the musical chairs leaderhsip that we waged these demonstrations to get away from? Is there anyone other than the above that you'll think is likely to work for the country and her people and not their vested interests?
