If the SPA does not handle this properly, they could meet the same fate as the King. They already burned Girija Koirala's effigy in Kirtipur for saying he was open to talking with the King. I agree with those saying the King should be pushed further - this speech was a big disappointment and if he was so concerned about saving the nation, then he should have gone a few extra miles to take concrete steps to do so. (like reviving parliament and calling for CA elections) But, I too fear that our leaders, at least some of them, might jump at the offer. I hope and pray they dont. Otherwise they will be struggling the rest of their lives over the same issues that they have been fighting for all along.
