We, the Nepali community and well-wishers of Nepal residing in Louisiana are holding a peaceful demonstration on Friday, April 21, 2006 at Louisiana State Capitol from 10 am to 11 am. We plan on showing our solidarity to the ongoing people’s movement in Nepal and collecting donation from all well wishers in order to help the injured protestors get medical treatment. In this context, we request all the Nepalese living in different parts of Louisiana and all well wishers from different backgrounds to join hands in opposing the inhuman suppression of people’s movement and in demanding for establishment of democratic republic in Nepal. On the behalf of all the nepalese and friends of Nepal, I would like to request everyone to participate in the peaceful demonstration tomorrow. I also request all to convey this message to the friends of Nepal and ask them to participate in our demonstration to show support to the ongoing movement in Nepal and to speak out for democarcy and human rights in Nepal.
