Highfly, We had very limited conversation that too very long time ago. So grudge etc are out of question. Besides, as you must have noticed, when posters get too nasty, I just ignore them. That said, it's good to sense that you no more see peace or whatever was there in the royal takeover and now probably have sympathy to ongoing Jana-andolan, as you have given some nice suggestions to it. I think the movement is doing good. As more people and diverse groups are joining, it has become more confident, mature and gentler too. A lot of us are discussing about ways to make it more gentler and friendly to security forces. You must have heard new slogans like "Police-sena Dajubhai". Soon you will be seeing flowers offered to security personnel. Everybody is aware that it has surpassed party politics and has become a national awakening, an once in a life time, never to repeat again, final revolution for freedom. So everybody is alert to make it right, make it good, make it perfect, make it memorable and glorious. Just see the diversity of people, variety of procession and sheer number of people and their restraint. Number of protesters killed by king's bullets crossed two digits, yet you do not see a revenge violence. It should give so much pride to every Nepali and some lesson to the Maoists. As for the Maoists, they are there without their arms. They are welcome. An unarmed Maoist is as good as any other unarmed and peaceful andolankari. Nepali people at large welcomed 12 points agreements between the political parties and the Maoists thereby showing their support to welcoming the Maoists to a new Loktantrik mainstream established by people themselves through a movement or through Constituent Assembly. In fact this is what the ongoing movement is all about. People never supported political parties' andolan that sidelined the Maoists issue and sought kursi and kursi only. The first wave of popular participation in andolan was in the pro-republic Nagarik andolan initiated by CMPD and the second one was after the 12 point agreement. The ongoing andolan is the continuation of the second wave that approved and welcomed the Maoist's renewed commitment to end the insurgency for a democratic republic. Just that, it has reached to a new height from where it is probably not going to wait for Constituent Assembly to do the monarchy away with. Constituent Assembly will probably be a post-revolution project to draft a new constitution. So, keeping the Maoists away is out of question. Keeping their guns away from the movement is the need of the hour. And Maoists are complying it so far. So, there is no problem. As for lekhajokha of Maoist abuses and war crimes, that's for a post-revolution war tribunal and as for other stupidities, that's for a free and fair election to take care of. You don't get more justice than that. I am sure the Maoists will be punished at the war tribunal and in the election. What remains after that must be acceptable to us. That's the way life is. So, a rough sketch of our near future is a republic, liberal and inclusive democracy with old political parties as well as new political party of the Maoists and probably a party of the royalists, if Gyanendra did not meet the fate of Ceausescu or Milesovich.
