Chatmandude, Nepalese community is not that big as NY, DC, MD, BOSTON, or CA. I guess more than 500 families are here in the state; mostly in Triangle (Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill) area and Greensboro area. We do not have any public data about Nepalese population, but for sure it is growing everyday. I have met few people moved from MD, MI, VA. UNC, Duke and NC State all 3 big universities are in Triangle area. Other UNC around the state like (Charlotte, Wilmington, Greensboro etc.), Wake Forest in Greensboro, Salem University in Winston Salem. The formal Nepalese organization in the state is Nepal Center of North Carolina (NCNC). NCNC host most events with collaborating other organization as well.
