Hmm.. back to this thread..I am sorry for calling the baby a "thing". It's cleary noticable that the baby's a "he". :P But carrying the dead baby in a pan cooker or a basin is and parading it around with a whole crowd is totally dishonoring...but it really made me laugh when some foreigner said "Maybe its a Nepali cultural way to honor the baby, to show the child to the village, despite what it looks like or health?" .. But did you guys notice how the kantipur editors put-""It" was taken to the hospital after its death." Some even thought this was just a scripture, if this was true.. why wasnt it a big issue in the BBC, CBC etc. 'cause its definitely extremely bizarre. Should've been noted down in the guiness record.
