I know most of you are just discussing about parties, king and protest and stuff... But there is another big concern as a result of such strikes and protests that might not affect so called diaspora, but is affecting the innocent jantas/public. Prices of commodities has sky rocketed and some are very hard to get as well. Some examples below.. The green chilly which used to cost 30 per kilo is now 140 per kilo Price of the dry onion has gone up to 60 per kilo which used to cost 16 per kilo Petrol is Nrs 67.25 per litre and not available, because the tanker with the petrol is not entering kathmandu valley from terai region. "Vehicles are not entering valley from terai region. so nothing is coming. No petrol. no coco cola, no bread available." This is written by my father in Nepal. strike, clashes with the police, procession is now the daily routine. few casualties, taking to police custody is now very normal. So we need to think about such stuff as well, and its effect... So I m also worried about the whole situation. Very damadol. It will take years and years no matter who will rule the country. Unless we all Nepalese (wo seemed to be very concerned) abroad go to Nepal and do something about it. Just my thought...
