I am not permanent resident of Kathmandu. But I have been living here for about 10 years and I have lot of friends who are permanent here. If there was a good reason to go to the streets, the people would have definately gone and shouted slogans. They are not cowards but they are not fools either. They simply do not turst the leaders who have treated them like fool for in the 14 years after democracy. People are well aware of that. So they just sit at home and want the protest to stop and normal life continues.
