my granddad was a Gurkha soldier in the British Army. he was in the 10th GR. Then he was posted in Singapore where i saw my granddad together with my dad serving in the same regiment. Everybody was betting on me that i would continue to serve the Royal Crown but i became a prodigal gurkha. All my cousins are in the British Army serving the crowns and so are most of my friends. its a GREAT prestige to become a GURKHA.
