The issue is that Hindus as followers of the ideology are barred from consuming beef period--not that one can consume copious amounts in the West but not in Nepal right? I concur with Birbhadra, humanity needs to prevail over Religious sentiments. It's more important to ensure that people have a decent meal to eat rather than wanting to preserve age old notions of religiosity and cultural notions.
