Sick and tired of illegal immigrant

Nepaali, most Americans, whether republicans or democrats, are against illegal immigration. Only yesterday on Larry King, Randi Rhodes, a rabid New York liberal, seemed to suggest that if this issue has to be resolved then Vicente Fox and George Bush the IInd need to work together. She steered clear of directly bashing illegals, but she clearly seemed to be against illegal immigration. Ed Schultz felt the same way. Now I listen to Ed Schultz(another democrat) almost every day when I'm driving. Let me tell you something. Most of the callers(they're democrats 90% of the time) seem to be completely against illegal immigration. Democrats just tend to take a "softball" approach, if you know what I mean, but this is a bipartisan issue. Both democrats and Republicans are against illegal immigration. And guess what, I voted for John Kerry. Do I hate Mexicans personally? Hell no. Also, read this article, and take a good look at some of the pictures posted on the website. Don't you think that's a bit hardcore? Many Mexicans feel that some states belong to Mexico. BTW, I am for tax cuts, but they gotta be fair about it. People in the top tax bracket pay quite a lot in taxes. However, point well taken. As a middle-class american citizen, I sure as hell want tax cuts. I mean who wouldn't? http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=49482 M5, my belief is that the reason why Americans are so readily hired by these multinationals is that American managers and CEO's tend to be more capitalistic. On 60 minutes, they had this one segment where they talked about Sony's CEO. Sony's big enchalada is an American, who, it looked like, didn't really have much experience managing big companies(I don't really remember the segment that vividly, but this was the feeling I got). Sony is a struggling company in many ways, it seems, and I guess they feel that American CEO's could do a much better job. I think this is just capitalism doing it's job. These bigshot managers are already made guys--they pay their taxes and are hardworking folks. I see no problem with multinationals hiring Americans to manage their companies. The way it is right now, America rules the roost, and Asian countries are just playing catch-up. What better way to learn tricks of the trade than from Americans? I agree with your stance that this whole illegal immigration mess has a lot to do with corporate greed. Another good way to control this invasion, so to speak, is to penalize American corporations for hiring illegals in the first place. If they wanna save money, outsource. I see no problem with outsourcing. As I have mentioned in one of my previous posts, outsourcing has an upside as well. Nepali Choro, I am not a neocon. I was against the Iraq war from the get-go, but my feeling is that now that we are there, leaving Iraq without fixing it is just a bit nutty. If you mess up a country, you better fix it before you leave is how I see it. Al Qaeda is truly trying to wreak havoc in Iraq. By the way, illegal immigration is something that both democrats and republicans are against. Just google the stats, they're everywhere. I think of myself as an independent. I am a social liberal in the sense that people can do whatever they want and I'll just shrug it off if I don't like what I see, like two gay guys putting each other in a tongue lock(courtesy of ludacris).
