Sumankomal, I think the best thing to do is ask your parents. The wedding ceremony means a lot to the parents and relatives than to the ones getting married. Seems like you have already gotten married here. I do not think it will be weird because I have attended such a wedding ceremony, and have heard of many others. The nepali relatives recieve the non-Nepali groom quite well. It's quite common these days. I am assuming your husband also is up for it. Be prepared to sit in front of the fire for hours. There is also the option of doing a short and sweet version of the wedding ceremony. As I said, your parents would be the ones to talk to.
