Why is it that whenever one of us Nepali Christians start a thread to get in touch with one another or seek one another's opinion, we have to come under attack and a debate has to be started? Where is the religious tolerance ("dharmik sahishnuta") that we were supposed to be proud of according our primary/middle school textbooks in Nepal? Does that apply to only minorities like us who are supposed to be tolerant towards Hindus and Buddhists? When sambhai started this thread I did not think it would go to this extent. Look at the original thread by sambhai. It only addresses us Nepali Christians. He did not ask for anyone else's opinion about Christianity. To all non-Christians, let this be clear: - we believe in the Holy Trinity, and thus, Christianity - we are not trying to convert you or anyone else - we don't think you are wrong and we are right or vice versa - we just want to reach out to other Nepalese who share our religious views so: sabialai chetana bhayaa
