Even america eyes on london as a gateway to europes market. There are more oppertunities here than in any other american cities as this is business capital of the world. But then to compare london with whole US is an unfair comparision as u cannot compare country with city. About the diversity thingy. I agree england is not as diversified as US. But then london is different. You have to be here to know how much diversified it is. Many considers most diversified city in the world. Only in london there are 15000 nepalese. Most of the top post in england is held by non whites.If u take them out the business will collapse. London is a complete city whatever way you look at it. You can get very old monument to the latest technolgy. The transportation system is best in the whole world. Believe it or not many people living in london works in france almost on a daily basis. My house mates dad is one of them. I was in edinburgh in scotland last month and i found out edinburgh is very good as well. many considers europe largest economy germany as the best place to live in. london is cosidered commericial capital of the world so there is no reason to believe that here there will be less oppertunities. Only downside of london i can recall is people so busy. If u go to any station or underground u see people running . Even on escalator they tend to run. They have no time at all. Weather may not be as great US but of course it is not prone to katrina and rita is it?
