I am adding along with the lines of ifc123 and ma chameli that: Perhaps we have to find out root causes of trafficking that embraces poverty, ignorance, and patriarchal attitude towards daughters. As it has been rightly said that prevention is better than cure, we have to uproot the root causes through education, employment, and awareness. And for those who have been rescued from the brothels should get trainigns and education for their socio-economic empowerment. Eventually, laws and policies on trafficking should be revised so that justice should speak on behalf of survivors not culprits. We need more NGOs and INGOs to work against trafficking, only Maiti Nepal and some other organizations are not enought to curb the trafficking effectively.
