.I could not help myself from making some comments. I totally agree with "nevermind" on the misleading title of this piece. "Nakkali Buddha"--what's that supposed to mean? How did the question of nakkali or sakkali arise when the boy hasn't even claimed himself as the Buddha. "People" started calling him Buddha because they could not fathom the existence of one. So what do people do? Call him a "Buddha" and then the same people lash out against him saying that he could not be a "Buddha". People make up things like these to satisfy their own sense of religious aspiration--an aspiration of having observed a "darshan" of THE Buddha. This brings me to what Karl Marx once said aptly about occasions as these. He said, "Religion is the opium of people." True. So true.
