Krishna and Shakuni were the guys responsible for the Mahabharat. Shakuni believed in cheating and politics, Krishna believed in hard work, honesty and responsibility. Krishna of course was the greatest politician of the era. Krishna did not have kids because one thing he was cursed by Gandhari so that he would die without offsprings, like herself at the end. Actually all kurus eventually were destroyed down the line. Krishna had slaves but those slaves themselves accepted Krishna as their lord. In Hindu religion there is nobody as pervasive as Krishna.
