Jack in this case is alcohol. Well you can call him Jack Daniels. Yesterday, I read about a Nepali artiste (something Shah) who lost his house, cars and had to be divorced with his wife because of excessive drinkin. So I wrote this song. I have tried to make the guitar solo in this song like that of bhajan in temples where people play sitar or bina. I have tried it to sound sad but I do not know whether I have succeeded in that. Please check it out and provide your constructive criticisms. - http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=411073 Jack was a friend of mine Relaxed and chilled it stood by itself in the corner You shook hands firmly no one even dared to blame you Its very first impression was that of a genie in a bottle You were glad to meet it till its deadly charm went on to enslave you Chorus: In its iron grip you were chained How you wish your life could come to an end Guitar Solo Flowing in abundance, beginning of decadence Surely leading thru Hell55 motorway Turmoil and delusions taking over your subconscious conscience Till you careened off the road in a broken state now you lay Repeat Chorus Rolled in paper, it let the good times roll People dying to live but you took life for granted Burning like hell, its aroma took it toll On the verge of death, you are left alone and left stranded Written, Composed and Performed by Bibek Bhatta 11 March 2006 © All rights reserved.
