It is a must place once in your life time.
Angelo's Barbeque
2533 White Settlement Rd.
Fort Worth, TX 76107

The scent of wood smoke fills your nostrils as soon as you open the car door. Stride past hickory woodpiles as large as livestock pens to enter the Western saloon--style eating hall, replete with neon, mounted game heads, and snakeskins. The long hallway leading to the meat-order station is usually filled with lines of hungry folks hankering for a juicy, sweet stack of smoky beef or pork. Grab a longneck or a cold soda from the drink coolers that line the path and add a bag of chips or Fritos from the convenience store racks before bellying up to the counter and naming your meat; sliced or chopped, sandwich or plate are the qualifiers, and beans, slaw, potato salad and extra sauce are the sides, rattled off in monotone by regulars who know the menu by heart. For dessert, pick up a pair of Mrs. Baird’s cupcakes or a fried pie. This is Angelo’s, Fort Worth’s revered barbecue mecca. Take it or leave it, sticky fingers and all.
