I'm looking at this thread and coming up with lots of thoughts. I can recall some of the Hindi movies mentioned here, I grew up watching them too. I've moved on since I believe that Indians are more ethnocentric than Westerners. If Indians were as powerful as the US, they would have become the most arrogant and self centered group of people in the world. They already do that with us. While in the US, people come and blame the Americans for being too ethnocentric, but I beleieve it's Indians who are more close minded. You can bitch as much as you want, but you still watch their movie? That's being stupid.So I do not watch their movies and I have my money where my mouth is. I hate Indians so I prefer not watching their movies. I have opened my eyes for other culture and countries and have found satisfactory results with the expansion of my world's culture. Anyway Why is it either Indian movies (if your little bit old fashioned) or Hollyhood (if you're a teenager). Let's face it, just because it's hollywood doesn't mean a good movie. Many of them are worst than a Hindi movie. Isn't there anything else? To make my story short.
