ok, this is how i get x=2.
x^2 = 2^x
2logx = xlog2
2/x. logx = log2
log(2/x)+ x = 2;
log(2/x) = 2-x
log x - log 2 = x-2;
logx - x = log 2 - 2;
so, x=2.
couldn't solve for x=4;
