Since they have started asking or demanding donations of various kinds, many local thugs have taken advantage of it posing as Maoists. Maoists in Nepal seem to have adapted to this easy life of showing up in people’s doorsteps and demanding food and money whenever and wherever they can. But the saddest part of the story is the poor innocent farmers that get caught up in the middle of this fight for power.
