I am getting confusion with process to obtain ITIN for my spouse whom I am going to claim as my dependent in my Tax return. PLease adivise on the actual process how to obtain it. The process I was said by IRS local office was - To file my wife's W7 - ITIN application with my Tax Return. Is it the actual process? If anyone has dealt with, pls advise.
