In support of Chipledhunga's persistant insistance... here's my version of 'down the memory lane'. As soon as you exited the big gates of MAV Thapathali, and mind you - the school was in an old palace of some sorts, you came under a big canopy where buses or just 'a' bus would await the day scholors. And on the right, next door, was a store where you could buy all good stuff. But being a boarder, I could hardly get into that store. Oh, how I used to wish if there was a hole in the wall, as right at the end of the 'football' field - or just a dusty field - was the wall to that store. And when you were on the third floor of the building, looking at one direction (south, may be), you could see the building that housed the famous 'Ram Bhandar' where the most beautiful looking and the best tasting meethais were sold. Oh, that little store and Ram Bhandar - so close, yet so FAR - for being a boarder who couldn't venture out... prisoners of some sort. (Some more to follow, if others join).
