John, Believe me, I concur with you whole heartedly. Having seen these personalities from very close quarters, I too can vouchsafe that the adjectives you used were exactly on point. From someone who's associations with Nepali Congress goes back to the very inception of the party - it is enraging to see what the leaders have become and done to the dream of a Democratic Nepal. The millions of promises they made have all amounted to nothing -- the leaders of Post 1990 governments, irrespective of party affiliations accepted wholeheartedly the lifestyle and minds of the predecessors they swore and fought against. Yet, I hope that rational minds prevail this time around. Lord knows the country cannot afford any more experiments gone hopelessly awry. You write with passion and you write beautifully :-)
