Why are we kidding ourselves. No, Nepal is not the best place to live in (atleast not currently).... why else would almost everyone in here travel half way around the world to live in other countries. Lets face it, there isnt much security, not even much law and order, unemployment is sky-rocketing, an average person willing to work hard finds it very hard to be successful professionally, unless he knows of people in high places. We've been in a civil war for almost a decade, there's a ruthless dictator ruling the country (urban parts atleast) with an iron fist and a hooligan son, and the maoists have been raising havoc in the rural areas for a while. Majority of the personnel claiming to be democratic leaders are not only incompetant but also extremely corrupt. These are our basic problems to start out with, and unless we wake up to face these facts, and thus proceed towards finding a solution there-after, we will fast approach a failed state, let alone the best state to live in.
