Birbhadra Ji, Nice point. I thought I am done but you brought a good point. We have 83 Giga Watts hydropower, is not mith or theory but truth. There are several reasons why international companise and banks are not interested to invest. 1. They have to develop infrasturctures like road which cost a lot. 2. Buyers like India can generate cheap electricity through coal. 3. Investers has to wait for long time to take profit. As you know this is very fast world. Electricity is pretty cheap right now because it is mostly generated by coal and radioactive material. Coal is less efficient but cheap. Radioactive material is expensive but highly efficient. A small block of Uranium can produce termandious amount of electricity for long time. But both are non-renewable; one day they will be finished. On top of that they have some drawbacks. Nuclear weaste is highly hazardous. It cost a lot of money to dump the weaste. US is facing a lot of protests against the nuclear dumping. Coal generates green house gases like Carbondioxide and Carbonmonooxide. Sooner or later there will be ban on it. What will India do then? This is why I have mentioned Kyoto Protocol. What to talk about India, right now USA is also not ready sign Kyoto Protocol. Most of the electricity in US is generated by coal. It has 1300 big cold mines. US economy will be severly damaged if she signs for Kyoto Protocol. But sonner or later everybody has to sign. In future there will be ban on gassoline fuel. Hydrogen fuel will take over. It is expensive but the world will have no option left. If we continue burning organic carbon compounds (coal, petrolium, natural gases) our existance will be endangered. So, life comes first. Greenhouse gases in atmosphere are not yet in threatening level. I am talking about future and they (India and china) are also looking for future.
