First of all... i do not like current regime of HMKG just because of the ways HM have violated many constitutional articles pertaining freedom of speech and legislature. However, let me point out some things that i have accumulated: 1. The current political leaders are such that, they appreciate all who fullfill their selfishness. This has been proven right after the establishment of democracy in 1991. The major political leaders when talking with Bijaya Kumwar (actually the night they met HMKB, and i remember Radha Krishna Mainali in the meeting), all of them said, if any case, they can't get the majority in the house, they will never establish govt in coalition with the Panchas. They'll make pact with each other (NC-UML etc). But we all know they never formed a coalition. UML made one with RPP-Chand, NC made one with RPP-Thapa and NCD made with RPP. Look what happened, they even selected former panchas as the Premier. Should we just call it hypocritical. 2. The current political leaders are such that, they appreciate all who fullfill their selfishness. No other parties liked NCD's govt under Mr. Deuba except Sadbhavana, MKP and RPP. GPK was never liked, MKN was just forgotten leader and Bamdev gautam was always looking for an opportunity for himself ofcourse. As soon as Mr. Deuba was recognized enept by HMKG and had Chand as Premier, again, no one like. Then Thapa was made PM, still no one liked and they started saying, to restore the govt of Deuba. As soon as Deuba was made PM, everyone started to hate him again (even after a 48-men cabinet was formed). Then King throws out him again... everyone hates the king now.. should we call it hypocritical. 3. These days, i don't really know what they want. Earlier they recommended MKN as PM, but I don't think GPK was any happier. HM is just crazily creating his own laws using Kamal Thapa (and by the way Radha Krishna jee, who said the king is a tyrant is serving the king - the worst example of hypocrisy). 4. Maoists were entitled "Terrorist" even when King Birendra did not want to sign the bill that made them "terrorist". The monarch never wanted the Maoist to be 'terrorist'. the palace always labeled them as 'rebels'. But the bill that was not signed went back to the house and was approved "OVERWHELMLY" that they are terrorist. Abiding by the constitution, the king is powerless to veto this scenario. So, Maoists are "terrorists' according to GPK, MKN, SBD etc etc.. But, they have a new 12-point understading between themselves to over throw the monarchy. Political parties are barred from signing pacts with terrorists. Remember.. no body wants extremists in the government. should we call it hypocritical. 5. I think HMKG should be allowed to do what he is doing. at least for the time has asked from the people. But, HMKG should let freedom of speech, if not a freedom to gathering to destroy public property. let journalism be utilized at its best. they represent people to let people know the reality. perhaps the king himself can establish his own propaganda secretariate to educate general people that the monarchy is working for us. HM cannot win our faith by subjugation. We can only be faithed by HM's good work that at least i am yet to see. I haven't seen anything really good yet. but, we'll see.
