The latest autocratic move of the government is nothing but an indication of the defeated mentality of the royal regime,” he said. He also brushed off the government’s claims that seven political parties’ protest rally and mass meeting was likely to turn violent on Friday. “We are committed to organize peaceful protests despite unprecedented suppression by the regime,” he added. He claimed that their valley-wide program slated for Friday would be a grand success. “If the leaders are arrested, common people will take the movement forward,” he said. UML leader Nepal also informed that security personnel cross over the compound wall of his house to enter into his residence early in the morning. “Security personnel were here at around 4: 00 in the morning.
