Rights activists Pahadi, Dr. Panday, Shrestha arrested Rights activist, Krishna Pahadi (File Photo) Police on Thursday morning have taken into custody noted rights activist, Krishna Pahadi, one of the coordinators of Citizens’ Movement for Peace and Democracy (CMPD), Dr. Devendra Raj Panday and editor of pro-left monthly magazine, Shyam Shrestha Thursday morning. A family member of Pahadi told Nepalnews that plainclothes security personnel took Pahadi into custody at around 5:30 a. m. this morning. He was taken to Gaushala police post from his residence. Similarly, family members of Dr. Panday told Nepalnews that security personnel took him into custody as soon as he returned to his house from morning walk at around 8:30 p. m. He was told that he would be taken to Armed Police Force headquarters at Halchowk, Kathmandu. Editor Shrestha was also arrested this morning.
