Sandhurst, I dare say that you needn't worry much about the progression of girth--I'm sure the many rounds of Golf that you tend to devour will aid in keeping a check on that expanding midline! So you've made to the Emerald City Eh?..I presume the weather agreed with you. It's much like England--one is in perpetual need of an umbrella/rain coat, but the weather aside, it is a beatuiful city. I'm a recent transplant but love every minute of life here. The city has so much to offer. A very vibrant music scene and an equally eclectic Art and Theatre scene. The bohemian lifestyle is a staple and once you stop getting fazed by the lifestyle here in the "Soviet of Washington" (the city comes with it's very own life size statue of Lenin, sitauted a few feet from a rocket ship, a troll under a bridge and a sculpture of people waiting for a bus at a bus stop that was never built!!) it's a city I would not want to part with any time in the near future.
