as a math grad student in a so so school, my suggestion to y'all is that go to top 10 grad school if you really want to do something. Life below that line is a bit dispiriting, if ya know what I mean.So Kiwigal, if you are throwing away money, why don't throw it at schools such as MIT, Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Berkeley, NYU etc? (NYU math program is also some sort of finance program, yielding a lot of moolah, I've heard). That rhode island school sounds fishy, btw.
