ok, this is how the funding is done for political parties of nepal is done in most cases. Every party has a main leader and some senior leaders and some petty leaders who eventaully gets ministership in the government when they form one, that's why they struggle to form a government by all means (UML with RPP, NC with RPP and Sadbhavana etc). Now, initially they are funded by business tycoons like khetan, golcha, amatyas, jyotis etc. but once the government is formed, they amash enough wealth for the party to run for at least another decade. The main leader tries to stay clean and so does the senior leaders. in NC case, GPK and formerly Sher Bahadur. then other leaders such as Govinda B Joshi, Khum Bahadur Khadka, Bal Bahadur Rai, Gachchhadar etc are ones who get portfolio where they can easily get bribes, such as forest, education and sports, commerce, agriculture etc. within 5-12 months, they amash enough wealth that would survive the party for a long time. That's why when there is UMl govt, they don't prosecute NC, and when NC have the govt they don't prosecute UML. A chain reaction, until KG interfered and all is history that we all know of. parites like RPP and Sadbhavana are already rich because of former feudal lords in teh party. Majdoor Kisan is primarily funded by the farmers of bhaktapur, that's why are the poorest of all the parties. UML made a 6 storied party office within 6 months in the govt, go figure...
